Ted London is the Ford Motor Company Clinical Professor of Business Administration at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business. He received his Ph.D. in strategic management from the University of North Carolina, where he was also on the faculty. At Michigan and North Carolina, he has taught hundreds of graduate and undergraduate students about business strategies for the base of the pyramid. In 2016, London was awarded the Aspen Institute’s Faculty Pioneer Award to acknowledge his long-standing contributions to development of inclusive business and how it is taught in the classroom.
Prior to his career in academia, London led and supported BoP enterprises in Asia and Africa.
London advises BoP enterprise leaders and their partners on how to transform motivations and goals into impactful results. Having studied the successes and failures of a wide range of BoP enterprises, London understands the strategies and business models needed to achieve sustainability at scale. He has also developed frameworks and tools that drive improved business performance and greater value creation.
